Gizmodo reports on new hard drive technology that will offer truly outstanding densities in the near future (HGST's New Hard Drive Tech Promises 1TB By 2007). And we're supposed to remain happy with $0.99 song downloads? How much will it cost to fill this hard drive with iTunes?

A couple of days ago Hitachi came out with its 500 GB hd. I calculated 125.000 $ to fill it with iTunes.
Double that for the 1 TB hd. A cool quarter of a million $.
