No Gay Books For Kids or No $ Says OK Legislators to Librarians
KFOR.com has the story (Lawmakers Threaten Library Funding):
The House has passed a resolution urging libraries to restrict children's access to books with homosexual subjects.
The Department of Libraries has received more than 1 1/2 million dollars this year and is asking for an additional $841,000 dollars for next year.
Now Representatives Sally Kern and Tad Jones say if libraries don't comply with the resolution there is a chance the extra $841,000 dollars won't be approved.

Being Italian, I had never seen gay books for kids, until I moved to Germany and visited a bibliothec. There, in high evidence, was displaied a book about two lesbian girls. I didn't read it, but from the cover it seemed clearly conceived for teen agers, to help them cop with feelings unexpected and particularly difficult to explain to others.

It's so sad you can be put apart by not even mentioning that your way of being is conceivable.
