I posted a number of things to Bill Dembski's blog, none of them abusive. For example, one scordova poster (on "The Vise Strategy..." had suggested that evolution lacks "standards of real science" and would be shown as such in a court of law. I asked him what standards of real science it lacked; my post was removed within an hour and I was banned (it was my first or second post to the blog). Dembski has now explained (apparently, reiterated) why he does this:

Ultimately, they'll end up converging definitions of intelligence with scientists such that the universe is defined as an emergent system exhibiting behaviour previously considered the unique purview of intelligent beings.
If the universe is simply the evolution of an intrinsically intelligent system, who needs an extra-universal super-being to design it?
