Demogogic Congressman Says Comedian Verges on Treason, Wants Him Off the Air
According to an AP wirestory on Yahoo! News, Rep. Spencer Bachus (R-Al) is claiming that statements by comedian Bill Maher verge on the treasonous (Congressman Slams Maher Over Army Remark). The congressman doesn't want Maher prosecuted (gee, thanks), just off the air. With Congress to consider a number of regulatory issues affecting television, such as more indecency regulation and the broadcast flag, let's see if the representative gets his wish. via The Huffington Post
